Is Retail MasterClass really free to start?
Yes, and you don't need a credit card. The free plan opens the first three lessons of each of the 7 pillars — 21 lessons in total — plus one Decision Lab scenario per pillar and the full library of 37 retail calculators. Ten of those calculators work without an account at all. Certification exams are included with PRO.
Who is this for?
Anyone in retail or moving into retail — floor associates, supervisors, aspiring managers, and store/area managers. The curriculum scales from absolute basics to manager-grade decision-making.
How long does a lesson take?
Most lessons are designed to be completed in 5–10 minutes, including the quiz at the end. You can move at your own pace — your progress is saved automatically.
What's an adaptive exam?
Our exams change difficulty in real time based on how you're performing. If you nail the basics, harder questions appear faster, so the exam stays challenging without wasting your time.
Are the certifications recognized?
A certificate proves you passed a timed, adaptive exam on that track's skills. It is not a government or academic accreditation. Each certificate has a unique verification code and public verify URL, so anyone (including a hiring manager) can confirm it's real. They're designed by retail operators around real workplace capabilities.
Do the calculators save my work?
Yes, when you use them from the Tools section of your account: all 37 calculators there let you save a calculation to your private workspace, so you can revisit, compare and learn from your scenarios. The quick calculators on the public calculator pages and in the KPI library run instantly in the page and don't save.
What's the difference between free and paid?
Free gives you the opening three lessons of every pillar (21 of 215), one Decision Lab scenario per pillar and all 37 calculators. PRO unlocks the remaining lessons, all 83 scenarios, the AI Coach, your performance review, and every certification exam, including the URMC.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your progress, calculations, and exam attempts are tied to your account and not shared. The only public element is a certificate verification page — and only if you choose to share its URL.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your Account page. Your earned certifications and progress remain on your account.
